Booking & Deposits

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Your session is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
The remaining balance is due before or on the day of the session, prior to any deliverables being released.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. Invoices are issued through official JoshNMotion channels.
Bookings are date-specific. Securing a deposit holds that exact date and time — not a general slot on the calendar.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled session will forfeit the deposit in full. No exceptions.
Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance may be eligible to apply the deposit toward a rescheduled date, at my discretion.
Rescheduling requests are accommodated when possible but are subject to availability. All rescheduling must be confirmed in writing.
In the rare event I need to cancel due to an emergency, the deposit will be refunded in full or applied to a new date — your choice.

The 72-hour policy exists because last-minute cancellations leave time that cannot be filled elsewhere. I appreciate your understanding.

Travel fees are based on one-way distance from my home base in San Diego, CA and are added to the project total at the time of booking.
Travel fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.
For destinations beyond 100 miles, a custom travel quote will be provided. Extended travel may also require reimbursement for fuel, lodging, or meals — this will be outlined in the project agreement.

Photography: Edited galleries are delivered within 7–14 business days of the session date.
Video (short-form / reels): Delivered within 5–10 business days depending on scope.
Video (long-form / documentary / event): Timelines will be agreed upon in writing prior to the project start. Typical range is 3–6 weeks.
Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee. Inquire at the time of booking.
Turnaround begins once all necessary information, assets, and approvals have been received from the client.

Each project includes a set number of revision rounds as outlined in your project agreement or package details.
Revision requests must be submitted in a single, consolidated list. Multiple separate requests for the same round count as multiple rounds.
Revisions are for adjustments within the agreed scope — not for changes to the original creative direction or a complete re-edit.
Additional revision rounds beyond what's included are available at an hourly rate, billed before work begins.

I am available for contact Monday through Saturday, up to 7:00 PM. Messages received after 7 PM will be responded to the following morning.
Sundays are unavailable. No messages, calls, or emails will be answered on Sundays. Please plan accordingly.
Text messages are sometimes okay after hours, but a response should only be expected by the next morning — not same-night.
For time-sensitive project decisions, please allow at least 24 hours for a response during business days.
All project details, agreements, and revision requests should be communicated in writing (email or text) to keep a clear record for both parties.

📸

All photos and videos remain the intellectual property of JoshNMotion. By booking, you grant me the right to use all content for portfolio, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes.
If you require full exclusivity or wish to restrict usage, this must be requested and agreed upon in writing before the session and may affect pricing.
I retain full creative discretion in editing style. Specific requests (mood, feel, references) should be shared during the inquiry/brief process — not after delivery.
RAW, unedited files are not included in any standard package and will not be delivered unless explicitly offered.

All required legal documents — including model release and/or talent release forms — will be sent digitally via email at the time of booking confirmation.
All forms must be signed via e-signature at least 48 hours before the scheduled shoot. This is a firm requirement, not a formality.
A reminder will be sent if forms remain unsigned at the 48-hour mark. If forms are still not signed within 24 hours of the shoot, the session will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited.
This applies to all individuals appearing on camera — not just the primary client. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that any additional subjects also complete and sign the required forms before the shoot date.
No shoot will proceed and no files will be delivered without fully executed release forms on file. No exceptions.

These forms protect both you and me legally. Please don't wait until the last minute — the process takes less than 2 minutes to complete digitally.

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals will reduce your session time — the end time will not be extended.
If you are more than 20 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be treated as a cancellation and the deposit forfeited.
Location permits, access fees, or parking are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
In the case of outdoor sessions, weather-related rescheduling will be handled collaboratively at no additional deposit cost.

📦

Edited files are delivered via a private online gallery or file transfer link. Download promptly — links may expire after 30 days.
It is the client's responsibility to back up and save delivered files. JoshNMotion is not liable for lost files after delivery.
File format and resolution will match what is standard for the service type, unless a specific format is requested and confirmed in advance.
Projects are archived for a limited time post-delivery. Re-delivery after 60 days may incur an archival retrieval fee.
